Meet the Agent
Hello everyone! My name is Ashley Hunt and I have the honor of being the new Lewis County 4-H Agent. I am originally from Fleming County, and I am an alumna of Morehead State University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and minored in Linguistics and Strategic Communications and Leadership. In my free time I love spending time with my family and friends, spending time outside, reading, and crafting.
I started in 4-H when I was 9-years-old through in-school clubs. When I was 10 I attended 4-H Camp for the first time and fell in love with 4-H. Over the years I participated in many years of 4-H Camp, Teen Summit, Teen Conference, the 4-H Shooting Sports Program, and more. In 2021 I served on West Kentucky 4-H Camp Staff as the Archery Instructor and in 2022 I completed an Extension Internship at the Clark County Extension Office.
I am truthfully so excited to get to work in Lewis County as the 4-H Agent and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at ashley.mhunt@uky.edu or call the Lewis County Extension Office at (606)796-2732.
